one-on-one wheel throwing
Have you always wanted to learn how to throw on the wheel?
I offer hands-on private wheel throwing classes. Each class is about 2 hours long and takes you through all the steps needed in learning the basics and beyond. Clay body, wedging, centering, and throwing to shaping, trimming and altering. No glazing. Just making.
This is foundational learning for the beginning to intermediate potter, learning how to throw on the wheel with hands on guidance.
All tools, clay and firing fees included. Glazing is optional in studio basic colors, and done outside of session time.
$189 for a two-hour session.
firing & kiln rental
If you work with clay on your own and want to add a few pieces to my bisque and glaze firings, shoot me a message! Kiln rental and firing available (bisque to cone 04 and glaze to cone 6). Proof of clay variety and glaze is necessary, as well as possible glaze trays.
Slip Studio offer memberships to clay artists working at home or looking for studio space and kiln access. Become a Slip Studio Member!

I'll come to you with everything we need to create one of a kind handmade ceramic pieces. Custom made. Sustainable. Slow clay projects we will make together during a 2hr class. I'll fire and glaze your pieces for you, ready for pick up in 2-3wks.
